Two wanted individuals appeared in North Battleford Provincial Court Thursday after they were arrested by Cut Knife RCMP in connection to a stolen vehicle on Little Pine First Nation.

A Saskatchewan RCMP news release says 27-year-old Kyle Lajimodiere of Cold Lake, Alberta, and 23-year-old Terri Fox of Sweetgrass First Nation were arrested on July 15 after the Cut Knife detachment received reports of a vehicle driving erratically on Little Pine First Nation. Officers had the vehicle flee from them when they initially located it, then found it soon after abandoned in a field behind a house.

With the assistance of the Saskatchewan RCMP’s Police Dog Services and Critical Incident Response Team, four individuals were arrested at the house. The vehicle was determined to have been stolen on July 12th in Minburn, Alberta. While Lajimodiere and Fox face multiple charges, the other two individuals were released without charge.

However, Cut Knife RCMP continue to investigate, including working to identify the individual who was believed to be driving the vehicle that fled from them. Anyone with information is asked to call Cut Knife RCMP or Saskatchewan Crime Stoppers.
