Maitlan Knoke of the Saskatoon Track and Field Club is the June recipient of the Sask Sport Athlete-of-the-Month honour.
Knoke won gold medals in the men’s F-55 seated discus and seated shot put events at the Canadian Track and Field Championships in Ottawa. Following is the news release from Sask Sport…..

Knoke lands June Athlete of the Month
June was a golden month for Maitlan Knoke, who took home two gold medals from the Canadian Track and Field Championships in Ottawa and earned Athlete of the Month honours.
Knoke opened his time at the championships by finishing top of the podium in the men’s F55 seated discus event after throwing a 27.99-metre distance. He followed that by finishing first in the men’s seated shot put throws by making a distance of 10.68-m.
Knoke was nominated by Saskatchewan Athletics.
