La Ronge RCMP are asking the public for help in finding a 22-year-old suspect in an assault and robbery in La Ronge.

On July 3 at 11:45 p.m., La Ronge RCMP received a report of an injured man in a vehicle parked on Morins Hill.

Officers learned an altercation occurred between three men in the vehicle. During the altercation, a man was assaulted with a weapon.

The injured man was able to exit the vehicle and leave the scene, and he was taken to hospital by EMS with non-life-threatening injuries.

Two other men fled in the injured man’s vehicle. Officers found the stolen vehicle in La Ronge, abandoned.

As a result of continued investigation, Blake Roberts has been charged with one count of robbery with weapon.

Roberts is described as six feet two inches tall, 180 pounds, brown eyes, black hair, and he also goes by the name ‘Blake Charles.’
