Saskatoon Police have arrested a 17-year-old boy following a robbery late Saturday night.
At 11:30 p.m., police were called to the 400 block of 2nd Avenue South for a report that a woman was being assaulted by someone with a metal pipe.
Police arrived and located an 18-year-old woman with what were believed to be non-life-threatening injuries. She was taken to hospital for further medical treatment. Through investigation, officers learned two women had been assaulted by a group of people during a robbery.
The suspects fled the scene prior to police arrival, however, a boy matching a suspect description was located and arrested shortly after. He has been charged with Robbery and Breaching Court-Imposed Conditions.
