A woman from Moosomin First Nation appeared in North Battleford Provincial Court Thursday, charged with one count of aggravated assault following an incident in the early hours of this past Tuesday on Moosomin First Nation.

A Saskatchewan RCMP news release says the Battlefords detachment received a report of an individual being assaulted at a residence at about 3:12 a.m. on June 30th. Upon arrival, officers found three adults inside the residence – one with injuries described as serious in nature. Thirty-eight-year-old Nicole Swiftwolf was subsequently arrested.
