A day of protest against AI Data Centers is being held Saturday all across Canada.
There are events scheduled from coast to coast, two of which are in Saskatchewan.
An organization called Say No to Regina AI Data Centre says residents will be speaking out against “the rapid expansion of hyperscale AI data centre infrastructure and the lack of transparency associated with these builds in Canada.”
The first event is a panel event, protest and potluck in Victoria Park in Regina at 1:00 p.m., and the second gathering is a city hall protest in Moose Jaw from 2:00-4:00.
