Three teenagers were arrested in Regina after police say they robbed a man of his shoes at bear spray-point.
On Saturday at 5:15 p.m., police were called to the 300 block of Rink Avenue for a report of a robbery. Police say the victim reported four boys approached him, threatened him and demanded his shoes. The victim told police he handed over his shoes to the young thieves, who then fled on foot.
Officers say the suspects were found shortly after in the area of Rochdale Boulevard and Lakeridge Drive. One of the suspects was found wearing the stolen shoes and two suspects were in possession of bear spray.
Now, three 14-, 15-, and 16-year-old boys have been charged.
The three youth are scheduled to make their first appearance on these charges in Regina Provincial Youth Court on Monday.
