The Schulich Leader Scholarship was established in 2012, and is given to students who demonstrate academic excellence, leadership, and are commitmented to innovation. The recipient must also be pursuing post-secondary studies in a science, technology, engineering, or a mathematics field at one of 20 partner universities.
Walter Murray Collegiate student Drake Jordan is the recipient of the $100,000 scholarship. The funds are to support the students post-secondary studies at the University of Toronto.
Drake was selected as Walter Murray’s Schulich Leader nominee and was chosen as one of 100 Schulich Leaders across Canada.
