A man is facing assault charges after an incident involving a weapon on Saturday evening in Saskatoon.
Just before 7pm, police were called to the 3100 block of 7th Street East for a weapons calls. A man was reportedly in the complainant’s backyard with a knife and was trying to enter the house. A 27-year-old man was arrested and it was later learned that he had outstanding warrants. The man is charged with assault with a weapon, possession of a weapon and carrying a concealed weapon.
