The former manager of the Lloydminster Housing Authority has been charged following a fraud and theft investigation.
In January, RCMP began investigating reports of financial irregularities involving Lori Neufeld.
The investigation determined that $10,000 worth of fuel was allegedly obtained for personal use through unauthorized use of the LHA’s resources. Investigators also determined that $6,000 worth of flooring materials had been stolen from the organization.
A search warrant was executed at a property in Marsden, where officers recovered 31 of the 52 boxes of flooring that had been reported stolen.
Now, 49-year-old Neufeld has been served with a summons and is scheduled to appear in Lloydminster Provincial Court on August 17th.
