Both SaskPower and Saskatoon Light & Power are reporting that power has been restored in and around eastern-Saskatoon.  

Impacted neighborhoods included Evergreen, Willowgrove, Forest Grove, Wildwood, Briarwood, Brighton, Arbour Creek, as well as rural communities of St. Denis, Clavet, Vonda, Aberdeen, and Blucher. 

Saskatoon Light and Power customers in Forest Grove, Silverspring, Erindale, and University Heights were also impacted. 

SaskPower spokesman Joel Cherry says, “the outage was caused by a flashover with a piece of equipment,” and he can confirm there were no injuries.
