A 33-year-old woman has been arrested and charged with break and enter to commit theft under five thousand dollars following an early Sunday morning incident in Saskatoon.
According to a Saskatoon Police Service (S-P-S) news release, officers responded to a reported break and enter to a residence in the 300 block of Avenue N South at about 3 a.m. on May 31. Arriving officers at the scene set up a perimeter around the residence when they found the front door was insecure. Police then entered with the assistance of the Canine Unit and a Police Service Dog and arrested the female suspect inside the residence shortly after. The female suspect was transported to hospital for non-life-threatening injuries consistent with a dog bite.
