There are some new attractions and activities to check out at the T.rex Discovery Centre in Eastend.
The Centre opened for the season on May 16, giving visitors access to two new life-size Thescelosaurus casts which have been put on display in the Cretaceous gallery.
A release from the Province says these guys, who walked on two legs and were about 3.5 metres long, were relatively common for the region and roamed the earth in the late Cretaceous, which was about about 76-66 million years ago.
The new addition will see Scotty, the world’s largest T. rex, hunting Thescelosaurus in the gallery.
That’s that all that’s new- the Centre will soon unveil an interactive Paleo Racers exhibit where visitors can test their running skills against a T. rex, a Thescelosaurus or a Brontothere.
The TRDC is is open daily from 10:00 a.m. to 6:00 p.m. until Labour Day.
