Lawn watering and the use of sprinkler systems is back to being in use in Saskatoon’s east-side.
The City of Saskatoon issued a news release this afternoon saying that water pressure has been fully restored to east-side neighbourhoods as commissioning of the Acadia Drive reservoir and primary water main has been completed. Voluntary water restrictions have now been lifted and residents can resume typical outdoor water use. The City release thanks residents for their patience and understanding during the completion of the project and that by limiting unnecessary water use, residents helped crews complete the work sooner than expected. In addition, residents are alerted to the fact that Acadia Drive between Taylor Street East and Avondale Road remains closed until mid-June to allow for remaining work and repaving.
