A 41-year-old man from Southey is being charged following the report of a firearm discharge in Southey.
On May 24th at 8:50 p.m., police learned that a man exited a home on Byron Street and pointed a firearm at two children before shooting it at the ground.
The children were not injured and were able to run away.
Officers immediately responded and arrested a man at the home, locating a semi-automatic handgun, a sawed-off firearm, ammunition, a small amount of cocaine and crack, and drug paraphernalia from the home.
Now, Joshua Bundus from Southey is facing ten charges. He has been remanded into custody until his court appearance on Friday. The investigation continues.
