Corman Park Police responded to an aircraft that had made an emergency landing Tuesday evening.
At 6:00 p.m., The CPPS and RCMP responded to a report of a possible plane crash near Lutheran Road and Range Road 3072.
The report was made by NAV CANADA’s Saskatoon Control Tower.
Officers say they arrived to determine the aircraft had not crashed but had experienced fuel exhaustion. This resulted in a complete loss of engine power and an emergency forced landing.
No injuries were reported, and the aircraft landed safely on the roadway without damage.
The aircraft’s owner was able to bring fuel to the scene, and the aircraft resumed flight and returned safely to its departure airport.
