The Saskatchewan Roughriders are off today and resume training camp back in Regina tomorrow at Mosaic Stadium. Practice runs from 9:30 a.m. until 12:15 p.m. The Riders completed their pre-season games with a loss in Calgary and a win over Winnipeg in Saskatoon. The Green and White open at home on Saturday, June 13th, against the B-C Lions. Kick off time is 5 p.m. at Mosaic Stadium in Regina.

The I-I-H-F World Men’s Hockey Championships continue today with the tournament running through Sunday, May 31st in Zurich and Fribourg, Switzerland. Sixteen national teams are taking part, split into two groups of eight teams for preliminary round-robin play, plus playoffs. Canada is one of the 16 nations taking part and are in Group B. Canada has 4 wins, 1 extra time win, 0 losses, 0 extra time losses for 14 points…good for 1st place in Group B. On today’s schedule…
