If you live in Prince Albert and you want your paper utility bills to continue to be mailed, you will have to pay a fee. The City of Prince Albert wants residents to say goodbye to snail mail and say hello to their inbox.
As of June 1st, the City of Prince Albert is charging $2 per bill for mailed paper copies of water utility bills.
City officials say residents can avoid the fee by switching to free email billing before the deadline. So, customers who sign up for email billing by May 31st will continue to receive their utility bill directly in their inbox at no cost. The City is encouraging residents to switch now to avoid additional fees.
And customers who choose to pick up a printed bill at City Hall will be charged a $10 printing fee per bill.
