This is Vanese Ferguson with Coffee Talk. The latest Angus Reid survey shows Canadian respondents, of which there were 2,013, only 11 per cent say the Carney government has exceeded expectations when it comes to advancing major national projects and 40 per cent said the federal government fell short of expectations. The whole thing was rolled out with such an abundance of celebration – that these national projects were part of the formula to keep the tariff threat at bay. And of course, there is the decision on which projects to attempt to advance first – obviously – a political gambit with careful decision making to ensure representation from multiple regions of the country as well as industry sectors. I just wonder about the lack of a time frame. As in time frame for when these projects could expect to be actually advanced and come to fruition. I don’t about anyone else but in my employment experience, part of the measures of whether you’ve succeeded in an endeavor is to have completed said undertaking within a certain period of time.
Sure like to know when one of those “national projects” will hit the ground running
