Mosaic presented a $2-million cheque for Saskatchewan’s only maternal and children’s hospital located in Saskatoon.
The Jim Pattison Children’s Hospital Foundation raises money for specialize equipment, innovative research and family-centred programs. The potash company has donated more than $12.5 million over the past two decades to the Foundation.
“This renewed $2-million investment will help ensure that children receive not only the best possible medical treatment, but also life-changing support through programs like the Mosaic’s Child Life Program when it matters most,” said Troy Davies, CEO of the Jim Pattison Children’s Foundation.
“Saskatchewan’s children and their mothers deserve world-class care close to home,” said Mosaic’s President and CEO, Bruce Bobine.
The Mosaic’s Child Life Program transforms the hospital experience for children and families by easing fear, anxiety and pain through compassionate, holistic care.
