On April 16th of last year, Carlyle RCMP say they received a report of hate based material being posted online in a public forum.

They say their investigation determined an individual was wilfully promoting hatred against an identifiable group.

Thirty-five-year-old Travis Patron of Redvers is charged with one count willful promotion of hatred. He was arrested last Friday in Carlyle and is in court May 13th.
