Drugs, data and cryptocurrency were seized following an arrest in Saskatoon last Tuesday.
A 30-year-old-man was arrested after members of the Saskatoon Police Service Cybercrime Unit, Digital Forensics Unit, and Patrol executed a search warrant at an address in the 10-block of Bateman Crescent in the Greystone Heights neighbourhood.
The following list of items were seized:
- Xanax and MDMA
- 0.447 Bitcoin (Btc)
- 0.007895 Ether (Eth)
- 0.0989 Binance Coin (BNB)
- Approximately 130 TB of data storage
- Assorted computer components
The accused has been charged with trafficking controlled substances and possession of proceeds of crime over $5000. Police are continuing to investigate
