The City of Saskatoon is reminding contractors and homeowners with a property adjacent to a park to obtain a permit before using the park as an access point for deliveries, equipment, or vehicles related to their projects.

In order to obtain a permit, contractors and homeowners must complete the Request Access to a Park online form, the Request City Utility Line Locate online form and call Parks Customer Service.

Permit applications should be submitted at least a week prior to the date required.

Once it is issued, the permit holder is responsible for repairing damage to city property at the homeowner or contractor’s expense, removing litter and debris and locating flags after the project is complete, adhering to restrictions set forth in the approval process, accepting injury liability, contacting the Parks Department after the work is done, as well as for any expenses incurred by the city to repair damage.
