A 26-year-old-man has been charged by Onion Lake RCMP after he allegedly fled from police in Onion Lake.
Police received a report of a disturbance outside an Onion Lake residence on March 31st at around 12:30 pm.
They determined two men approached a residence on Sesame Street, with one of them striking the door and shouting at the people inside. The men did not enter the home and eventually left the property. One of them left on a dirtbike.
Officers found the suspect on the dirtbike and attempted to conduct a traffic stop, but the man did not stop and instead turned down a path that vehicles could not pass through. Officers continued to patrol the area and found the dirtbike abandoned in a ditch. Investigation determined that it had been stolen from Mervin, SK.
