The Ministry of Highways says motorists can look forward to $7.1 million of improvements to an eastbound Highway #7 bridge over rail lines west of Saskatoon.
A release from the province says rehabilitation work could begin as early as Wednesday. Once the project is underway, all traffic will be diverted from the over 60-year-old bridge to the westbound bridge built in 1994 over the rail lines. Traffic will operate in both directions of travel on the westbound bridge.
The release continues that drivers should expect delays, obey all signage, be alert and slow down. The project is expected to be completed by late fall.
