Possession of a weapon
The Saskatoon Police Service says their officers responded around 3:30 a.m. Thursday to an unknown problem in the area of 20th Street West and Avenue U South.
While en route, officers were told that a woman on a bike had fired something towards a nearby taxi and the window shattered.
A suspect was located near 20th Street West and Avenue V South and after making the arrest, police say she was found to be in possession of an imitation firearm.
A 21-year-old Saskatoon woman was charged with possession of a weapon dangerous to the public peace, unauthorized carry of a concealed weapon, mischief under $5,000 and breach of probation.
B&E
When officers responded to a report of a break and enter around 2:00 a.m. Thursday, they found suspects inside the building.
The call came from a business in the 400 block of 20th Street West. In a news release, police say the suspects tried to run but officers had surrounded the business and two people were arrested.
Police say one suspect was in possession of a knife and bolt cutters.
A 54-year-old man was charged with break and enter while a 45-year-old man was charged with break and enter as well as possession of tools suitable for the purpose of break and enter.
Injured Person
The Saskatoon Police Service says officers responding to the 400 block of Avenue S South Wednesday night located a man suffering from multiple injuries.
The call came in at 11:45 p.m. and police determined the victim had been assaulted with a bladed weapon in a nearby home before suspects fled the area.
The injured man was taken to hospital with non-life-threatening injuries. Police say it’s unknown if the suspects and victim knew one another.
The Serious Assault Unit continues to investigate.
