The Saskatoon Police Service says they are looking for the public’s help in identifying two suspects believed involved in a scanning scam.
Police say they are using a makeshift scanning device to alter prices allowing them to purchase merchandise for far less than its actual value.
The fraud-related shoplifting incidents, believed to be perpetrated by two men working together, have taken place at a home improvement store in the city’s south side and have been going on for several months.
Anyone with information is asked to contact Saskatoon Police Service or Crime Stoppers.
