Two young adult males from the Makwa Sahgaiehcan First Nation were arrested in the wee hours of last Thursday morning after they blew through an attempted traffic stop and eventually apprehended.
According to a Saskatchewan RCMP news release, 24-year-old Bradi Mitsuing and 23-year-old Keeton Partridge fled from a traffic stop attempted by a Loon Lake RCMP patrol officer at about 12:20 a.m. on March 19 in Loon Lake. The vehicle headed south on Highway #26, stopping shortly thereafter on Makwa Sahgaiehcan First Nation. That’s where police caught up to them and arrested the driver who was observed to be impaired. The passenger in the vehicle was also arrested following further investigation which turned up a small quantity of methamphetamine, drug paraphernalia, a loaded firearm magazine, a can of bear mace and two firearms (pictured). A list of charges for Mitsuing and Partridge follows at the end of this story. Partridge was scheduled to appear at Meadow Lake Provincial Court Monday while Mitsuing is scheduled to appear on May 7 in Meadow Lake Provincial Court. Loon Lake RCMP continue to investigate.

three counts, weapons possession contrary to order; three counts, possession of a weapon for dangerous purpose; two counts, possession of a firearm in a motor vehicle; one count, possession of a prohibited firearm with ammunition without license; two counts, carry concealed weapon; one count, possession of a firearm knowing its possession is unauthorized; two counts, unsafe storage of a firearm and one count, possession for the purpose of trafficking.

one count, flight from peace officer; one count, operation of conveyance while impaired and one count, operation of conveyance with more than 80 mg of alcohol in 100 ml of blood. He also received multiple traffic-related tickets and a ticket for having open alcohol in a vehicle. Mitsuing was also found to have an outstanding warrant with Lloydminster RCMP.
