Members of the Saskatoon Police Service Patrol and the Warrant Enforcement Unit responded to a report of a firearm being pointed at another person shortly before 11:00 am yesterday (Wed).
As officers were responding, additional information was reported that the suspect left the scene in a vehicle. A vehicle was seen in the 600 block of Avenue H South where a traffic stop was conducted, resulting in the arrest of a 32-year-old woman.
Continued investigation found that a 25-year-old woman and a 27-year-old man were also involved in the incident and they were located and arrested nearby. The Guns and Gangs Unit assisted with the investigation following the arrests.
Several items were seized including a sawed off .22 calibre shotgun, 0.23 grams of methamphetamine, 18.91 grams of fentanyl, $456, and assorted paraphernalia consistent with drug trafficking.
