The Financial and Consumer Affairs Authority of Saskatchewan is warning people of an impersonation scam on social media using fake videos claiming that celebrity entrepreneur Kevin O’Leary is endorsing an online investment platform called Enterprise2u.

Enterprise2u claims to offer Saskatchewan residents trading or investment opportunities, including stock market trading.

FCAA Securities Division Executive Director Dean Murrison warns against making investment decisions based on endorsements from notable figures, as scammers can create fraudulent news articles and imitate real media sources.

Enterprise2u is not registered with the FCAA to trade or sell securities in Saskatchewan. The FCAA reminds people to check the registration status of an entity at aretheyregistered.ca before investing.

The FCAA asks that anyone who has invested with Enterprise2u to contact their securities division.
