Firearms Investigation
The Saskatoon Police Service says the Guns and Gangs Unit made one arrest in a firearms investigation.
Last Friday, the Guns and Gangs Unit, assisted by the Tactical Support Unit and the National Weapons Enforcement Support Team, executed a search warrant at a home in the 2300 block of William Avenue, in Saskatoon’s Queen Elizabeth neighbourhood.
Police seized a Rock Island M1911 A1FS .45 calibre handgun, a Glock 9mm handgun, a fully operational and prohibited 3D-printed Glock-style 9mm handgun, 9mm ammunition, .45 calibre ammunition and cell phones.
A 36-year-old man was arrested and is facing several firearms related offences.
Liquor Store Robbed
Saskatoon Police say a group of females robbed a liquor store Monday evening in the 100 block of Primrose Drive.
That’s Lawson Heights Mall where there is a Sobey’s Liquor Store nearby.
Police say at 6:15 p.m. it was reported to police that a group of six females, brandishing a machete and bear spray, stole several bottles of alcohol.

Bear Spray on Bus
The Saskatoon Police Service says bear spray was deployed on a Transit bus Monday evening.
This was around 8:15 p.m. in the 3700 block of Centennial Drive and police say the bear spray was deployed after an altercation on the bus.
There several people suffering from the effects of bear spray after police arrived.
