A second suspect has been charged in connection to Saskatoon’s first homicide of the year.
A 26-year-old man is charged with Aggravated Assault and Manslaughter and appears in Saskatoon Provincial Court Wednesday afternoon.
On February 3rd around 5:30 a.m. police responded to St. Paul’s Hospital after two men showed up seeking treatment for stab wounds. Both men were 25 years old and while one man recovered, the other man succumbed to his injuries.
On February 7th police arrested an 18-year-old male who is now charged with accessory after the fact to manslaughter, accessory after the fact to aggravated assault, public mischief, and obstruction of justice.
The Major Crime Unit is continuing to investigate.
