The first half of February was much warmer than normal, especially in southern regions where there was little to no snow cover.
Regina, Estevan and Moose Jaw all reported the 9th warmest February on record. Saskatoon was also above normal with the difference in monthly mean temperatures declining in northern areas. There was one Arctic blast which last about a week from the 19th to the 25th. All of the charts and maps are courtesy of Environment and Climate Change Canada.

The major precipitation event occurred on the 17th and 18th when a Montana low brought significant amounts of snow to several areas, with the exception of the southwest.
