A new chapter in the Jolene saga is on the way. Rising country singer Belles wrote a sequel called “Son of Jolene,” flipping the story and imagining what happens years later.
And get this, Dolly Parton heard it, loved it, called it “very clever,” and now the two are teaming up for a duet. Belles says when Dolly said she wanted in, that was it, life complete.

CMA Fest just dropped its Nissan Stadium lineup, and it’s packed.
Ella Langley, Cody Johnson, Bailey Zimmerman, and Riley Green will headline the four nights in Nashville June 4th through the 7th.
They’ll be joined by Tim McGraw, Blake Shelton, Luke Bryan, Shaboozey, The Red Clay Strays, and more, with a few surprises still to come.
And if you can’t make it to Nashville, the shows will air later this summer on ABC and Hulu.

Ella Langley is getting some major recognition. She’ll receive the Powerhouse Award at the Billboard Women in Music Awards April 29 at The Palladium in Los Angeles.
She’s being honored for her powerhouse vocals and bold storytelling, and for making history as the first woman to top the Billboard Hot 100, Hot Country Songs, and Country Airplay charts all at the same time.

If you walk into Carly Pearce’s house, don’t be surprised, there’s basically a shrine to Carly Pearce.
She says you turn the corner into her living room and boom, plaques, awards, milestones, all of it on display.
Her dad thinks it’s “a little aggressive,” but Carly says she’s worked her whole life for it, so it’s going up.
The only problem now? She’s out of room and storing plaques in the garage. Not a bad problem to have.
