A 31-year-old man is being charged after allegedly using a knife in a robbery Tuesday evening.
At 6:45 p.m. police received a report of a robbery in progress at a liquor store in the 300 block of Shillington Crescent. Officers learned that a suspect had entered the store and threatened staff with a knife before fleeing on foot with a bottle of liquor. A suspect was located and arrested a short distance away.
The accused is believed be responsible for two additional robberies, one in the 1600 block of 33rd Street West earlier in the day and another in the 500 block of Wellman Crescent on February 21st.
He is charged with Robbery, Possession of a Dangerous Weapon, Carrying a Concealed Weapon, and breaching court-imposed conditions.
