🏒 Women’s Ice Hockey — Silver Medal

• Canada lost the gold medal game to the United States 2-1 in overtime

• Canada led 1-0 in the second period (goal by Kristin O’Neill) but the U.S. tied late and Megan Keller scored the OT winner.

🥌 Men’s Curling — Into the Gold Medal Game

• Canada’s Brad Jacobs rink won their men’s curling semifinal, beating Norway 5-4 in an extra end.

• That win puts Canada in the Olympic men’s curling final

🥌 Women’s Curling — Semifinal Bound

• Team Homan continued its strong run with a 10-7 win over South Korea, clinching a spot in the women’s curling semifinals.

⛷️ Freestyle Skiing

• Canadian freeski star Cassie Sharpe took a hard fall in the women’s ski halfpipe qualifiers and was taken off on a medical sled. She was reported stable and conscious afterward.
