The same email scam that was circulating in the Dalmeny area on the long weekend has surfaced in Saskatoon.

The police say the email is sent from “Saskatchewan Provincial Services” and claims the person receiving it has been issued a “Saskatchewan Provincial Violation Ticket” with instructions to pay a fine through an attached link.

They advise anyone receiving this email to it immediately without clicking on the link.

Attempted fraud can be reported to the Canadian Anti-Fraud Centre and they ask that if you have been the victim of a fraud to contact the Saskatoon Police Service.
