The Dalmeny Police Service is warning people of a Provincial Violation scam circulating via email after receiving complaints from residents.

The fradulent email tells recipients that they have a provincial violation ticket and asks them to click on the attached link in order to pay the fine.

Police advise the public not to click on the link.

The Saskatchewan Fine Collection Branch only sends correspondence via mail and does not contact individuals through email or phone.
