A rally is being held in Saskatoon on February 14th to mark the Global Day of Action for Iran. The rally will run from 2 to 4 pm and will start at College Drive and Wiggins Road and conclude at Civic Square.

The rally will call attention to the Iranian regime’s mass killing of civilians, regional destabilization and escalating threat to global security as it approaches nuclear weapons capability.

Participants will call on the Government of Canada to take actions such as enforcing and expanding sanctions against the Islamic Republic and its officials, a proper implementation of the Islamic Revolutionary Guard Corps terrorist designation, the expulsion of Islamic Republic officials and operatives from Canada, and to ensure accurate and responsible media coverage of Iran.

The rally will end with remarks from elected officials and community representatives.
