The largest donation in University of Saskatchewan history has allowed the school to establish a new scholarship program at Edwards School of Business.

Although passed on, William (Bill) and May Ellen Pringle chose to gift USask a $10 million endowment, which will be distributed to continuing undergraduate students from Saskatoon or Regina who demonstrate financial need. Every recipient will have the remainder of their degree paid for, and it’s estimated that 35 Edwards students will receive a Pringle award each year.

Bill Pringle earned his Bachelor of Commerce degree in 1955 and enjoyed his career as a chartered accountant and real estate developer until his passing in 2015. May passed in 2024.
