Person assaulted and vehicle stolen on Muskoday First Nation

Prince Albert RCMP are investigating a robbery on the Muskoday First Nation late Saturday night.

Officers responded to call around 11:15pm and were told a person stopped their vehicle on Bear Paw Drive after being approached by a man. The driver was threatened with a weapon, assaulted and had their vehicle stolen. The victim was treated for non-life threatening injuries.

The vehicle was later recovered in Saskatoon. It was found abandoned on Gladstone Crescent in the Silverwood Heights neighborhood. RCMP say the suspect was wearing a red and black hat with a silver chain on his neck.

The investigation continues.
