Lloydminster RCMP say a noise complaint turned into a sexual assault investigation.

Last Friday around 3:47 a.m. Lloydminster RCMP say their officers responded to a noise complaint at a local hotel and when they arrived they spoke to someone in the lobby who told them they had been sexually assaulted.

RCMP officers located the room in question and arrests three people who were there. A search warrant was executed which included the involvement of the Forensic Identification Section.

Two residents of Lloydminster – 39-year-old Karan Joshi and 22-year-old Ghanshyam Verma as well as 45-year-old Joginder Momi from Edmonton, have all been charged with sexual assault and forcible confinement.
