The Prince Albert Police Service Major Crimes Unit (MCU) and Forensic Identification Section (FIS) are investigating a death that occurred on Saturday.

At approximately 3:45 p.m., police were called to a home in the 700 block of 18th Street West for a call for service involving a theft. While attending that call, officers located a man, dead inside the home.

The Major Crimes Unit continues to investigate in relation to this death along with the Saskatchewan Coroners Service. An Autopsy is scheduled for Monday.

Area residents can expect to see police remaining on the scene during this time.
