An additional woman has been arrested and charged in connection to a homicide that took place last year.
The 26 year old woman was arrested on Wednesday by members of the Saskatoon Police Service Warrant Enforcement Unit. She was charged with first degree murder, offering an indignity to human remains and unlawful confinement by investigators with the Major Crime Section.
The investigation the woman was arrested in relation to began on December 18th, 2024 when members of the Guns and Gangs Unit, in assistance of the Tactical Support unit, were executing a search warrant at a residence in the 1700 block of 22nd street west.
A deceased man was found in the residence and three men and a woman were taken into custody for questioning but were late released without charges.
Police are continuing to investigate. The woman will appear in court on December 5th.
