The City of Saskatoon is recognizing the International Day of Persons with Disabilities by launching an Accessibility Plan.
The Multi-Year Accessibility Plan is being released with the support of the Accessible Saskatchewan Act. The plan was created with feedback the City received from over 500 individuals and community organizations who shared their insights and thoughts about the accessibility barriers they face in Saskatoon.
The City believes that supporting people with disabilities will strengthen the entire community as a result. They say work is being done to make the community an accessible place for people of all abilities.
