Kenny Chesney just shared a hilarious — and slightly painful — throwback about the first song he ever wrote.
He told Howard Stern that back in college, he spent an entire semester trying to impress the cute girl who sat beside him. Nothing worked—not the jokes, not the East Tennessee charm—so he went all in and wrote her a song.
He recorded it on a cassette, handed it over, and then waited four agonizing days to see her again. When he finally walked back into class, she’d moved as far away from him as she could get. Kenny joked that it was his very first taste of rejection.
Thankfully, it didn’t hold him back—he’s now a 2025 Country Music Hall of Fame inductee.
Tucker Wetmore recently cleared up a funny rumor — fans say he looks just like Zach Top. Same mustache, same Washington roots.
People wondered if they’re related. Tucker explained, “Every time we see each other, we go, ‘What’s up, cuz?’”
He added it’s a distant connection: “My dad was married to someone whose daughter is Zach’s aunt. Not really close, but we joke about it.”
So yes, they’re connected… just very loosely.

Megan Moroney is teasing her 2026 arena tour in a clever way. She mailed fans jigsaw puzzles, and when completed, each revealed a tour city and coordinates.
Fans shared their puzzles online, hinting at stops in Chicago, Charlotte, Tampa, and Philadelphia — with more to come.
The tour will likely share the name of her upcoming album, Cloud 9, out February 20th. Megan is set to headline Nashville’s Bridgestone Arena for the first time — her biggest show yet.
