The Saskatoon Police Service says four people have been arrested after a stolen vehicle was recovered on Monday night. Shortly before 9:00 p.m. police were alerted to the location of a reported stolen vehicle by a third-party GPS monitoring service.
Officers then travelled to the location indicated which was the 1400 block of 22nd Street West and saw the vehicle in a parking lot with people inside.
A traffic stop was conducted and four people were arrested without incident. Police say they located and seized a sawed-off rifle from inside the vehicle.
As a result, two men, age 24 and 34, and two women, age 29 and 36, have been charged with possession of stolen property over $5000 and several firearms-related offences.
