Southey and Lumsden RCMP, along with local fire and EMS responded to a single vehicle collision last Friday night on Piapot First Nation east of Highway #6.

RCMP say a 59-year-old man who was a passenger in the vehicle was declared dead by EMS at the scene.

Two other male passengers were taken to hospital by EMS with injuries considered serious but non-life-threatening.

RCMP say a woman driving the vehicle was arrested at the scene and 45-year-old Melissa Watetch from Piapot First Nation is facing multiple impaired driving related charges including impaired operation of a conveyance causing death.
