Saskatoon firefighters responded to a garage fire in the 100 block of 4th Street East at 6:18 p.m. yesterday evening.

When they arrived fire crews could see flames and smoke coming from a detached garage.

Multiple 911 calls poured in, and fire crews had the fully involved fire under control in 9 minutes.

No one was in the garage at the time, and a fire investigator is determining the cause, origin and damage estimate.
