North Battleford RCMP are no longer searching for a 35-year-old woman following a robbery in North Battleford.
On Wednesday at 8:00 a.m., RCMP received a report of a robbery at a business on the Highway #16 Bypass in North Battleford. Police were told that a group of people entered the business, threatened a man with a knife, and demanded his phone and wallet. The group left the business in a vehicle. No physical injuries were reported.
Officers located the vehicle and pulled it over before arresting one man and five women. During the arrest, one of the women provided a false name to officers.
The man and three women were released without charge, but officers arrested 21-year-old Mia Starchief from Mosquito, Grizzly Bear’s Head, Lean Man First Nation, 33-year-old Celicia Pete from North Battleford, and Angel Bear from North Battleford.
